Tehran – The Iranian Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare has outlined the schedule for the next phase of its targeted subsidy program, providing clarity for millions of citizens.
Staged Payments Begin Next Month
According to an official announcement, the new round of credit support will be allocated to households in a staged process throughout the second week of the Iranian month of Azar, 1404. This structured approach is designed to ensure the efficient and orderly distribution of funds.
Eligibility and Allocation Details
The rollout will occur in two distinct phases:
First Phase: In the initial stage, the first to third income deciles—representing households with the lowest incomes—will receive a credit allocation of 500,000 Tomans for essential goods.
Second Phase: Two weeks after the first disbursement, the fourth to seventh income deciles will become eligible for their support, receiving a credit of 350,000 Tomans.
This targeted subsidy initiative is part of the government’s ongoing social support policies, aiming to provide economic relief and strengthen the purchasing power of eligible families across the nation.
