Title: Landmark Meeting Paves Way for Enhanced Financial Support for Armed Forces Retirees
In a significant step towards bolstering the welfare of military retirees, a high-level meeting was convened with key officials, including Mr. Sadeghi, the CEO of SATA and Head of the Retirement Organization, and Amir Rahbar, an active member of the military fund.
Focus on Legal Protections and Inflation-Adjusted Pensions
A central topic of discussion was the review of key chapters of the Country’s Civil Services Law, specifically Article 125. This legislation mandates that the pensions of armed forces personnel and retirees be adjusted in line with inflation rates. Officials confirmed that SATA has initiated formal correspondence with the government to ensure the serious and timely pursuit of this crucial matter.
Streamlined Support for Retirees’ Families
In a move to provide direct and efficient support, the meeting yielded positive developments for retirees’ families. Mr. Rahbar announced that SATA has pledged to coordinate with a leading bank to centralize and expedite the process for marriage loans for retirees’ children. This initiative aims to disburse these loans in under six months.
Further solidifying this support, the CEO of SATA declared that armed forces retirees will be eligible to receive a special 200 million Tomans marriage appliance loan for up to two years following their daughter’s wedding. This substantial financial measure is designed to alleviate a significant part of the financial concerns for retirees’ families, marking a tangible commitment to their well-being and social stability.
