Article:
In a significant development for Iran’s social welfare system, the Social Security Organization has announced the definitive schedule for settling pension adjustments, underscoring the state’s commitment to its retirees. The remaining arrears from the new Iranian year’s salary adjustments are set to be fully cleared by mid-Aban 1404 (early November 2025).
A Conclusive Timeline for Payments
According to detailed statements from the Director-General of the Yazd Province Social Security Organization, the process of paying the salary differentials for the month of Farvardin has already commenced. The official confirmed that the entire procedure is on track to be finalized by the middle of the current month. This move finalizes a key administrative process for the year.
Payment Progress and Beneficiary Groups
Substantial progress has already been made. The Director-General reported that pensioners receiving the minimum income level, along with survivor pension beneficiaries, have already received their full arrears. The remaining group awaiting the final settlement consists of retirees with monthly pensions exceeding 20 million Tomans, who represent approximately 30 percent of all pensioners. For this group, the outstanding amount is estimated to be between 3 to 4 million Tomans per individual.
Commitment to Fulfillment and Social Welfare
The Social Security Organization has emphasized its dedicated efforts to expedite these payments and prevent delays. “The organization has employed all its capacity to accelerate payments and prevent delays in arrears so that retirees and pensioners can receive their salaries and claims on time,” the Director-General stated, highlighting the institutional focus on fulfilling obligations.
This announcement brings clarity and a definitive conclusion to the adjustment process for the pensioner community, ensuring all beneficiaries receive their duly calculated entitlements.
