Tehran – The Iranian currency market experienced a day of active trading and price adjustments on the 15th of Aban, with official and free-market rates for major currencies showing varied movements.
Official Exchange Center Rates
According to financial reports, the price for a US dollar transfer in the official exchange center was set at 69,900 tomans. The price for dollar banknotes was reported at 71,997 tomans.
The euro also saw specific pricing, with banknotes quoted at 82,727 tomans and euro transfers at 80,317 tomans in the same official marketplace. The UAE dirham was priced at 19,604 tomans for banknotes and 19,033 tomans for transfers.
Free Market Dynamics
In the open market, the euro experienced a decrease of approximately 400 tomans, with its trading value announced at 123,810 tomans. The dirham price in the free market was 29,327 tomans, also reflecting a slight decrease from previous sessions.
The British pound was traded at 140,620 tomans, showing a minor decline, while the Turkish lira was priced at 2,570 tomans.
