Title: New Horizons for Educators: Nationwide Insurance Expansion and Enhanced Coverage Announced
In a significant development for the educational sector, comprehensive insurance services for educators and administrative staff have been expanded to cover 23 provinces across the country, along with the central headquarters of the Ministry of Education. This initiative underscores the ongoing commitment to improving the welfare of those serving in the national education system.
Expanded Coverage and Services
Maryam Emami, the Manager of Health Insurance at “Bimeh Moalem” (Teacher Insurance), detailed the broad spectrum of services now available. Based on agreements with the Ministry of Education, the coverage includes:
- Supplementary health insurance.
- Approved and complementary life and accident insurance.
- Student accident, treatment, and liability insurance.
- Automobile and residential fire insurance for education staff.
A key feature of this insurance program is its extensive reach, providing 24/7 accident coverage across the entire nation, ensuring protection for educators regardless of location or time.
Building on Success
The decision to expand from 9 to 23 provinces was driven by the high level of satisfaction among educators with the services provided last year. “The high satisfaction of educators with the services provided in 9 provinces last year led to the expansion of this insurance’s scope to 23 provinces this year,” stated Ms. Emami.
This expansion reflects a responsive approach to the needs of the educational community and a successful public-private partnership model.
Enhanced Benefits for the Current Year
A notable improvement in this year’s contract is the inclusion of coverage for burns and related incidents. This enhancement adds a crucial layer of financial security for educators and their families, addressing a wider range of potential risks.
Streamlined Claims Process
Ms. Emami also clarified the straightforward procedure for reporting and compensating claims. In the event of an insured incident, whether inside or outside the educational environment, the school principal must complete the relevant form. This form, along with the necessary documentation, can be submitted physically or online to Bimeh Moalem. The claim is then evaluated according to the contract’s framework, and compensation is paid directly to the student’s guardian or legal representative.
