The red side of Tehran is heavily represented in the Iranian national team, with Payam Niazmand, Milad Mohammadi, Hossein Kanaani, Mohammad Omari, and Ali Alipour all selected. On the international stage, Marko Bakic will represent Montenegro, while Oston Urunov joins the Uzbek national squad. At the U-23 level, Mohammad Hossein Sadeghi will carry the Persepolis flag.
