Title: Nationwide Vehicle Damage Compensation Underway Following Recent Conflict
Introduction
In the wake of the recent 12-day conflict, a major national effort is in progress to assess and compensate for the widespread damage inflicted upon private and organizational vehicles. This initiative has become a primary focus for the affected citizens, with insurance companies mobilizing their technical and expert capacities to expedite the claims process.
Major Insurance Operation Launched
Leading this effort, Bimeh Iran, the country’s largest insurance company, has announced the launch of its most extensive damage assessment and compensation operation nationwide. According to the company’s managers, this large-scale undertaking is being executed through the mobilization of expert teams and coordinated efforts among provincial branches.
Official Statements on the Process
Ali Jabbari, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Bimeh Iran, referenced the established guidelines for processing claims in the technical and automotive insurance sectors. “Since the beginning of last week, informational text messages have been sent to those affected, outlining the required documentation,” Jabbari stated. “The process of reviewing and paying out compensation is proceeding according to the scheduled timetable.”
To accelerate the filing and processing of claims in the capital, eight selected branches in Tehran have been designated for this purpose. Jabbari confirmed that notification messages have been sent to all claimants in Tehran, with the review process being prioritized.
Progress and Scale of Assessments
Highlighting the scale of the operation, Jabbari pointed to the deployment of over 140 specialists and the formation of special assessment teams across various provinces. “So far, more than 4,800 vehicles have been assessed,” he reported. “The total number of damaged vehicles reported has reached 5,450, including private, organizational, and military vehicles.”
He affirmed that this process will continue until all claims across the country are fully settled.
Financial Scope and Economic Factors
The CEO disclosed that the assessed damage so far amounts to 5,000 billion rials. The estimated compensation for the remaining vehicles is approximately 3,500 billion rials. Jabbari noted that due to rising prices and currency exchange rate fluctuations, the total compensation sum may reach around 11,000 billion rials.
Ensuring an Efficient and Respectful Process
Emphasizing the central role of automotive insurance management in this operation, Jabbari mentioned that briefing sessions have been held with the heads of selected branches. Expert teams are also conducting field visits to monitor the acceptance, case completion, and payment processes at these branches.
He further stressed that treating the claimants with respect and dignity is a fundamental principle of this entire endeavor. The highest volumes of damaged vehicles are reported from the provinces of Tehran, Kermanshah, Alborz, East Azerbaijan, Isfahan, and Gilan. The compensation payments currently apply to vehicles owned by private individuals, and alongside Tehran, the settlement process is actively underway according to plan in 17 other provinces.
