Welfare and Subsidy Payments: Key Dates for August 2024
The monthly welfare payments for beneficiaries of the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation and the Welfare Organization were deposited on Monday, August 20, 2024. These payments, which have seen a 40% increase since the beginning of the year, are routinely transferred on the 20th of each month to the accounts of eligible household heads.
Subsidy Disbursement Schedule
In addition to welfare payments, the second phase of cash subsidies for August 2024 will be deposited on August 25, targeting the first to third income deciles. Each eligible individual in these groups will receive 400,000 tomans, available for withdrawal from midnight on the same day.
For the fourth to ninth deciles, subsidies will be deposited by the end of August, with each recipient receiving 300,000 tomans—a fixed amount since spring 2023.
Extended Deadline for Electronic Vouchers
The third phase of the electronic voucher (Kalabarg) scheme continues until August 31. Beneficiaries who have not yet used their allocated credit are encouraged to visit approved stores and supermarkets before the deadline.
