Iraqi Dinar Rate for Arbaeen Pilgrims
The Iraqi dinar (IQD) was priced at 5,496 IRR per 100 dinars (or 54.9 IRR per dinar) in the cash exchange market. With the Arbaeen currency quota for pilgrims being calculated based on these rates, Iranian pilgrims can check the latest exchange values at the Iran Exchange Center’s portal.
As of today, the 200,000-dinar quota allocated to each pilgrim is valued at 10,992,000 IRR.
Arbaeen Currency Sales Update
As of yesterday, over 1.8 million applicants have received a total of 340 billion dinars in allocated currency for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The sale of foreign currency for pilgrims will continue until August 22.

The weighted average exchange rates, calculated based on trade volumes over the past month, are as follows:

Total Trade Volume in Iran’s Exchange Market
According to the Iran Exchange Center, the total trade volume in the commercial foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year has reached $10 billion, including:
- $5.528 billion USD
- €401 million EUR
- AED 12.896 billion
- CNY 3.864 billion
- RUB 1.455 billion
The average daily trade volume stands at $128 million.
