He called for the full readiness of the health system to counter any threat or crisis, demanding expedited treatment and rehabilitation for those injured. This includes leveraging all specialized and super-specialized capacities, such as advanced treatment centers and mobile medical teams, to deliver high-quality care.
President Pezeshkian also meticulously reviewed the strategic reserves of medicines, vaccines, and surgical equipment. He stressed the continuous monitoring of inventories and the timely procurement of necessities through domestic supply chains, and, when critical, through international channels, prioritizing wartime medical needs. He lauded the “jihadist” efforts of healthcare personnel on the frontlines of service, particularly during the “difficult current days,” acknowledging their exemplary dedication as an invaluable asset to the nation’s health system. The President affirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Ministry of Health in its mission.
