Iranian Pensioners to Receive August Benefits, Awaiting Outstanding Payments
The Social Security Organization of Iran has announced the official schedule for the disbursement of monthly pensions and benefits for the month of Mordad (July-August) to its approximately 5 million retirees and pensioners. The payments, calculated based on the approved annual decree for the year 1404, will commence tomorrow, starting in the capital, Tehran, and subsequently across all provincial cities.
The deposits for all Social Security pensioners will be processed within a 72-hour window through agent banks, following an alphabetical order.
Clarification on Outstanding Payments from Farvardin
While the timely payment of the Mordad pension is proceeding, many retirees are also awaiting the disbursement of outstanding payments from the month of Farvardin (March-April), which they expect to be paid alongside their current benefits.
Recent statements from the Minister of Labor had promised that these outstanding payments for worker-pensioners would be settled with the Mordad salary. Pensioners now hope that in the remaining days of the month, they will receive both their regular pension and the Farvardin arrears.
An official from the Kerman provincial Social Security office recently commented on the unpaid difference from Farvardin, noting that official instructions for its payment have not yet been received, citing economic conditions.
Ali Akbar Eyvazi, a member of the board of directors of the Tehran Retirees Association, stated, “The Mordad pension will be paid on its specified date (in the final days of the month), but there is no news yet on the Farvardin arrears.” He expressed hope that ongoing efforts by the Social Security Organization would result in the payment of these outstanding amounts by the end of Mordad, acknowledging the significant erosion of the purchasing power of these delayed funds over the past months.
Key Changes to the August Payslip
A significant adjustment of 4,200,000 Tomans will be added to the August pension payslip for retirees. Furthermore, as the appropriate adjustments were not applied to the Mordad payslip, retirees expect that, based on government resolutions and commitments, new payment decrees will be issued reflecting the updated calculations.
How to Access Your Pension Payslip
Retirees from both the Social Security Organization and the Civil Servants Pension Organization can easily view and download their payslips through official online portals, a service provided completely free of charge as part of the nation’s ongoing digital transformation in pension services.
For Social Security Retirees:
Access is available via the Non-Centralized Services Portal at es.tamin.ir or through the “Tamin Man” mobile application. The process involves selecting the ‘Pensioners’ option, choosing ‘View Pensioner’s Payslip,’ and entering required identification details to search for and view the desired monthly slip.
For Civil Servant Retirees:
Retirees should visit the Civil Servants Retirement Organization website at cspf.ir, enter their specific details (including general ledger number, national code, and bank account number), and confirm the information to view and receive their payslip.
For those without internet access, in-person assistance for retrieving payslips remains available at local Social Security branches or Civil Servants Retirement Organization offices. Retirees are encouraged to review their monthly statements to ensure accuracy in calculations and payments.
