Title: Government Confirms Continuation of Summer Work Hours, Announces Upcoming Transition
In a decisive statement, a senior Iranian official has clarified the government’s position on official working hours, ensuring stability in the public sector’s schedule for the immediate future.
Continuity of Current Schedule
Alaeddin Rafiezadeh, the Head of the Administrative and Recruitment Organization and a Vice President, confirmed that the working hours for all state administrative offices will remain unchanged until the 15th of Shahrivar (early September). The current schedule, which runs from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM, was established by a cabinet decree and will stay in effect.
A Scheduled Return to Standard Hours
Mr. Rafiezadeh further elaborated on the plan for the remainder of the year. He stated that after the 15th of Shahrivar, official working hours will revert to the previous administrative resolution that was ratified in the year 1401 (2022-2023). This announcement provides clarity and allows both public sector employees and citizens who rely on government services to plan accordingly.
The official concluded by assuring that should any decision contrary to this plan be made, the necessary public announcements will be made through official channels. This move underscores the government’s commitment to structured and predictable administrative policies.
