
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has affirmed Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing a unified stance among Islamic nations. In a recent phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Prince Mohammed reiterated his commitment to diplomatic efforts aimed at pressuring Israel to cease its aggressions.
President Pezeshkian, during the Saturday evening call, expressed gratitude for the Crown Prince’s condolences and brotherly sentiments. He also extended appreciation for the collaborative and sincere services provided by Saudi Arabia to pilgrims during the Hajj season, under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Pezeshkian condemned the Israeli regime’s attacks on Iran, describing them as indicative of its aggressive nature. He highlighted his administration’s dedication to strengthening peace, stability, and security in the region, noting that Israel has consistently obstructed these efforts.
Emphasizing the critical importance of unity and brotherhood among Islamic countries to counter the Israeli regime’s criminal actions, particularly in Gaza, President Pezeshkian stated that Saudi Arabia, given its regional and Islamic world standing, can play a significant role in fostering this unity to defend the rights of all Muslims in the region. He expressed hope for joint cooperation to bring tranquility to the region.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, while condemning Israel’s oppressive aggressions against Iran and extending condolences for those who lost their lives in these incidents, reiterated Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Iran. He stressed that the entire Islamic world stands united in support of Iran and affirmed his ongoing diplomatic efforts to halt Israeli aggressions.
Prince Mohammed also noted his belief that Israel is attempting to escalate tensions to draw the United States into conflicts, but expressed confidence that Iran’s wise response would deny them this opportunity. He concluded by assuring that Saudi Arabia would spare no effort in assisting its Iranian brethren.
