Iran’s Peugeot Pars Offers Extended 60-Month Payment Plans to Facilitate Car Ownership
TEHRAN – In a move that aligns with broader economic objectives to enhance public access to consumer goods, Iran Khodro has announced updated and highly flexible payment plans for its popular Peugeot Pars model. The new schemes, effective for the current month, feature extended payment periods of up to 60 months, significantly reducing the monthly financial burden for prospective buyers.
New Financing Options for Buyers
The detailed pricing structure offers potential customers a range of choices to suit different budgets. For the brand new 2025 Peugeot Pars XU7P, a down payment of 364 million Tomans unlocks a 60-month installment plan with monthly payments of 16.8 million Tomans. Another variant, the 2025 ELX-XU7P model, requires a lower initial payment of 327 million Tomans, with higher monthly installments of 22 million Tomans over the same five-year period.
The automaker is also providing financing for pre-owned models. A 2024 Peugeot Pars XU7P with zero kilometers is available with a 301 million Toman down payment and 60 monthly installments of 18 million Tomans. These long-term plans are strategically designed to make vehicle acquisition more attainable for a wider segment of the population.
A Mainstay of the Iranian Automotive Industry
The Peugeot Pars has long been a cornerstone of Iran Khodro’s production lineup and remains one of the nation’s best-selling vehicles. While it shares some lineage with the older Peugeot 405, it has been developed into a distinct model with several available trim levels.
The car is primarily equipped with two engine types: a 1.8-liter XU7 engine producing 100 horsepower and a 1.6-liter TU5 engine generating 105 horsepower. Its combined fuel consumption is reported to be between 7.5 to 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers. The vehicle is praised for its simplicity, low maintenance costs, and the wide availability of parts, factors that have cemented its enduring popularity in the Iranian market.
This initiative to expand payment options reflects a continued focus on supporting domestic industry and meeting the needs of the Iranian consumer.
