Stage 4 of Subsidy Program: Key Disbursement Schedule Announced
In a move underscoring the government’s commitment to social welfare, the fourth stage of the electronic commodity subsidy credit is set to be disbursed, providing essential support for eligible households.
Disbursement Timeline for Low-Income Households
Coinciding with the auspicious occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the credit for the fourth stage is being activated today for households in the first to third income deciles. This credit is designated for the purchase of 11 essential items across three main product groups: dairy, protein, and groceries. Household heads have until the end of the Iranian month of Aban (November 21, 2024) to utilize their allocated credit for purchases.
Schedule for Middle-Income Deciles
The rollout of the program continues with inclusive planning. For citizens in income deciles 4 to 7, the credit for the fourth stage is scheduled to be deposited starting this Saturday.
How the Program Works
Beneficiaries of the electronic commodity subsidy scheme can purchase the designated goods according to their needs from a vast network of over 250,000 contracted retail and chain stores. The program offers significant flexibility, with no restrictions on the brand or the quantity of each item that can be bought within the allocated credit limit. If a purchase exceeds the provided subsidy ceiling, the difference will be paid by the purchaser directly.
The Ministry of Welfare has emphasized that beneficiaries can make their purchases in multiple installments; there is no requirement to use the entire credit at once.

Household heads will receive an SMS notification regarding their available balance from the official short number v.refah
. Recipients are advised that this message will only contain the credit amount and will not include any links, in line with security protocols.
