New Pension Fund Chief Vows to Protect Retirees’ Assets and Livelihoods
In a significant message to the nation’s retirees, the newly appointed head of Iran’s Civil Servants Pension Fund, Dr. Ozji, has laid out his core commitments, placing the protection of pensioners’ assets and the improvement of their welfare at the forefront of his agenda.
The message, issued by the Fund’s Public Relations and International Affairs Department, was timed with the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadeq (AS), which also marks the beginning of Unity Week—a symbol of solidarity and fraternity among Muslims.
A Commitment to Service and Dignity
Addressing the country’s esteemed retirees, Dr. Ozji extended his congratulations for the holy occasions and immediately pivoted to his serious resolve to safeguard the assets of pensioners and enhance their livelihood and stature. He characterized service to this knowledgeable segment of society as both a divine blessing and a grave responsibility.
A Foundation of Principles and Future Goals
Outlining the guiding principles for his new role, Dr. Ozji stated that his short and long-term plans are founded on the luminous teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), who consistently emphasized human dignity and the rights of individuals. He firmly established that every step taken by the Fund under his leadership will be dedicated to three key pillars: the preservation of pension assets, the elevation of retirees’ living standards, and the honoring of their high status.
Expressing strong confidence, Dr. Ozji concluded that through the empathy and participation of the retiree community, a fundamental and positive transformation in the Pension Fund’s services will soon be realized, ensuring more worthy services for all beneficiaries.
