Title: Social Security Organization Announces Phased Payment Schedule for Pensioners’ Arrears
Tehran – The Social Security Organization has initiated a structured, multi-phase plan to disburse outstanding pension adjustments and increases related to the Persian New Year (Farvardin 1404). This significant financial action is set to benefit approximately five million pensioners and beneficiaries.
The disbursement process, which began recently, is being executed according to a clear and official timeline designed to ensure orderly payments to all eligible recipients.
Payment Schedule and Eligible Groups
The organization has outlined a three-stage plan for the payments:
Phase One: Completed
Payments have already been deposited for all disabled pensioners and retirees whose total monthly income is up to 20 million tomans. The arrears, reported to be an adjustment of approximately 3 to 4 million tomans for the month of Farvardin, have been transferred to their accounts.Phase Two: Concurrent with September Pension Disbursement
The outstanding arrears for all survivor pensioners will be paid simultaneously with their regular pension for the month of Shahrivar (scheduled for September 19-21, 2024).Phase Three: Following September Pension Disbursement
The remaining retirees, not covered in the first phase, will receive their arrears shortly after the regular Shahrivar pension payments are processed.
A Commitment to Timely Fulfillment
This scheduled plan demonstrates a structured approach to managing public welfare commitments. The Social Security Organization has projected that all arrears for every group will be fully settled by the end of the month of Shahrivar (September 20, 2024), providing retirees and beneficiaries with clarity and certainty regarding their finances.
