Title: Bank Saderat Iran Announces Major Financial Milestones and Launches Prestigious Festival for Pensioners and Educators
In a significant ceremony marking its 74th anniversary, Bank Saderat Iran has unveiled a series of major achievements and launched a special festival to honor the nation’s educators and pensioners, underscoring its commitment to social responsibility and national development.
Strategic Financial Reforms Achieved
The event, held at the bank’s Sepehr Tower headquarters and attended by board members, executives, and staff, featured an address by the bank’s CEO, Mohsen Seifi. He detailed the institution’s successful execution of a clear 25-month strategic plan, highlighting two core areas of accomplishment.
“All efforts have been employed to fulfill our promises,” stated Mr. Seifi. “The most important factor for an organization’s continuity and success is strategic foresight and calculated movement. Today, we can affirm that we have delivered on a significant portion of our pledges, particularly in reforming the financial structure and developing information technology.”
Mr. Seifi emphasized that the financial restructuring, a critical strategic move for the bank’s future, was successfully completed despite challenges. Through consecutive capital increases, the bank achieved 100% of its resource mobilization goals. He noted that the marked improvement in profitability indicators demonstrates the bank’s substantially stronger financial position compared to previous years.
Technological Advancements and National Gratitude
Significant progress was also reported in the realm of information technology infrastructure, achievements Mr. Seifi credited to the dedicated efforts of every employee. He extended his gratitude to staff, retirees, shareholders, the government, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, the Securities and Exchange Organization, and other institutions for their support.
“Based on our planning, we will turn the year 1404 into a special and enduring year in the bank’s history,” the CEO announced. “This year, Bank Saderat Iran will attain its true stature in branding, and the trust of our customers and banking partners will be strengthened more than ever before.”
Honoring a Legacy of Service
Reflecting on the bank’s 73-year history during the Unity Week, Mr. Seifi paid tribute to its founder, the late Engineer Mohammad Ali Mafrah, and the institution’s revered martyrs. Their legacy, he noted, is inextricably linked to the bank’s proud history.
To further honor this legacy, plans were announced to establish the “Bank Saderat Iran Museum” and an annual festival titled the “Mafrah Award.” This prestigious award will be bestowed upon hardworking employees, active staff, and veterans of the banking network and Bank Saderat Iran.
The ceremony included the unveiling of a memorial for the bank’s martyrs and a bust of the late Engineer Mafrah in the Sepehr Tower courtyard, accompanied by live music, a documentary on the bank’s oral history, and a performance by a youth choir.
“74 Years of Trust” Festival: Rewarding Retirees and Educators
Under the slogan “74 Years of Trust, 74 Years of Companionship,” Bank Saderat Iran has launched a special festival to express gratitude to both active and retired educators covered by the Civil Servants Retirement Organization.
The festival, which runs from August 20 to September 6, 2024, offers participants the chance to win prizes based on the daily balance in their bank accounts. Every 10 million Rials in a daily balance counts as one point, with a minimum of 74 points required to qualify for the prize draw.
The festival features substantial rewards, including six special prizes of 1 billion Rials each for the top three scorers from both retirees and active educators. Furthermore, 1,480 prizes of 74 million Rials each will be awarded via draw—740 prizes for each group.
A formal appreciation and prize-drawing ceremony will be held on the bank’s founding anniversary, attended by senior bank officials, representatives from the Ministry of Education, and managers of the Civil Servants Retirement Organization.
