Clarification on Social Security Pension Payments: Official Sources Dismiss Rumors
Recent online speculation regarding the removal of key pension benefits for Social Security retirees has been officially denied by informed sources within the Social Security Organization. The rumors, which caused concern among pensioners, suggested the elimination of supplementary allowances for housing, family, and dependents.
Official Denial and Reassurance
Authorities have confirmed that these reports are entirely unfounded. There are no plans to alter the current process of calculating or disbursing pensions and their associated benefits. The payment system remains unchanged, ensuring continued financial stability for retirees.
Scheduled Payments and Arrears Distribution
Pension payments for the month of Shahrivar will be processed as usual, disbursed through agent banks during the final three days of the month. This consistent schedule underscores the organization’s commitment to timely and reliable payments.
Furthermore, the arrears related to the annual salary adjustment and increase from Farvardin 1404 will also be distributed. These funds will be transferred to all beneficiaries concurrently with the Shahrivar pension payment. For retirees whose total income exceeds a specific threshold, the arrears will be settled in a subsequent phase.
It is noted that the first phase of this arrears payment, for retirees with monthly incomes up to the specified threshold and all disabled beneficiaries, was successfully completed on the 12th of Shahrivar.
