According to a report from the analytical news base Che Khabar, the play “Sang Bast” will be staged nightly at 8:50 PM from September 17th at the Chaharsou Hall of Tehran’s City Theater Complex.
The play is a social drama set in the 1340s (1960s) and narrates the story of a woman from Shiraz named “Ahu.” Her husband has been imprisoned in Vakil Abad Prison in Mashhad following an accident that led to a fatality. The narrative focuses on Ahu’s faithful and grueling struggle to secure her husband’s freedom, highlighting themes of perseverance and familial devotion.
