Title: New Subsidy Credit Enhances Support for Armed Forces Retirees
In a significant move to bolster the welfare of military retirees, a new electronic subsidy credit has been deposited into the accounts of eligible individuals. The initiative, part of the government’s ongoing support programs, is designed to directly assist with living expenses and enhance purchasing power.
Payment Details Announced
According to an announcement by Amir Rahbar, an official with the Armed Forces Pension Fund, the “Hekmat Card” subsidy for the current month has been credited. The disbursed amounts are tiered based on household size to ensure equitable support:
- Single-member household: 520,000 Tomans
- Two-member household: 1,040,000 Tomans
- Three-member household: 1,560,000 Tomans
- Four-member household: 2,080,000 Tomans
- Five-member household: 2,600,000 Tomans
This credit is part of the 76th phase of the ongoing support program.
Streamlined Access for Retirees
Retirees can immediately begin using their credited funds. The process has been simplified to ensure ease of access; beneficiaries can visit any of the nationwide Etka chain stores to purchase essential goods without the need for cash withdrawals or further administrative procedures.
“The credits will be fully activated for all eligible retirees by the end of the week,” Mr. Rahbar stated, inviting retirees to take advantage of the scheme starting today.
A Focus on Livelihood and Stability
This measure is framed within the government’s broader policy of supporting retirees and members of the armed forces. The direct provision of subsidy credits aims to mitigate economic pressures and contribute to household stability by increasing access to essential commodities.
At Etka stores, retirees can purchase a range of staple goods, including rice, oil, meat, dairy products, and pulses, at government-approved prices. This system ensures that the real value of the subsidy is effectively delivered to the intended beneficiaries.
Officials highlight that linking the subsidy to a specific retail network allows for greater oversight in the distribution process, ensuring the program’s integrity. The successful implementation of this initiative is viewed as a potential model for similar support programs for other segments of the retiree community.
