A New Portal for Appeals and Transparency
With the recent update to the classification, some households previously eligible for subsidies may find their status has changed. To address this, the government, through the Ministry of Welfare, has launched a new online platform: the “Subsidy Tier Appeal System,” also known as the “Comprehensive Iranian Welfare System” or the “Livelihood Support Portal.”
Accessible at hemayat.mcls.gov.ir, this portal allows citizens to formally register an appeal, request a review of their classification, and track the status of their case using their national identification number. The system is part of the government’s ongoing effort to enhance transparency and provide a clear channel for households to address concerns regarding their eligibility for cash and livelihood subsidies.
