Tehran – The Meteorological Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran has released a detailed weather forecast for the coming days, outlining a dynamic pattern of conditions across the nation’s diverse geographical landscape.
Rain and Thunderstorms for Southern Provinces
According to the official forecast, over the next five days, scattered rainfall and thunderstorms are predicted for the afternoon and evening hours in the southern provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman, and the elevated areas of Hormozgan. This weather pattern highlights the active atmospheric conditions in the country’s southern regions.
Dust Forecast for Western Provinces
The western provinces of the country are expected to experience dust phenomena, particularly on Thursday and Friday. This forecast underscores the ongoing environmental and climatic considerations that are routinely monitored by national authorities.
Weekend Shifts in the North
A significant shift is anticipated by the weekend. Starting Friday, the northern provinces, including West and East Azerbaijan, are forecast to see rainfall, occasional thunderstorms, strong temporary winds, and at times, dust. This pattern is expected to extend to the coastal provinces along the Caspian Sea by Saturday, accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperature across the northern belt of the country. Prior to this, a relative increase in temperatures is expected on Wednesday and Thursday in the same northern regions.
Mariners are advised that the Sea of Oman will be rough over the next two days, with the Caspian Sea becoming turbulent on Friday and Saturday.
Stable Conditions in Central Regions and Capital
In contrast to the activity in the north and south, the Meteorological Organization reports that no significant weather phenomena are expected in most other parts of the country until Friday. The capital, Tehran, is forecast to have a clear sky today, accompanied by some wind, with temperatures ranging from a high of 28°C to a low of 26°C.
