Title: Government Disburses Monthly Subsidy to Eligible Households as Scheduled
Article:
Subsidy Payments Adhere to Established Schedule
In line with the government’s ongoing social support program, the monthly cash subsidy for the current Persian month of Mehr has been deposited into the accounts of eligible households. The disbursement follows the established schedule, with payments for lower-income deciles preceding those for middle-income groups.
Structured Payment System
The Targeted Subsidies Organization has maintained its payment structure, ensuring timely support for citizens. Payments for income deciles 1 through 3 were processed on the 25th of Mehr, while households in deciles 4 through 9 will receive their subsidies on the 30th of Mehr.
The subsidy amounts remain consistent with previous months, providing stable and predictable support. Eligible individuals in deciles 1 to 3 receive 400,000 Tomans per person, while those in deciles 4 to 9 receive 300,000 Tomans per person. Consequently, the total subsidy a household receives is calculated based on the number of eligible members.
Calculating Household Benefits
The following table illustrates the total subsidy for households of different sizes this month:
Number of Household Members | Deciles 1-3 (Tomans) | Deciles 4-9 (Tomans) |
---|---|---|
1 | 400,000 | 300,000 |
2 | 800,000 | 600,000 |
3 | 1,200,000 | 900,000 |
4 | 1,600,000 | 1,200,000 |
5 | 2,000,000 | 1,500,000 |
Policy of Targeted Support
This structured payment system is a key component of the government’s policy to provide direct financial assistance to households, with a focus on supporting lower and middle-income families. The system is designed to ensure that social support reaches its intended beneficiaries efficiently.
Households classified in the highest income decile (decile 10) are generally excluded from the subsidy program, in accordance with the regulations of the Targeted Subsidies Law. This measure ensures the program’s resources are directed toward those with the greatest need.
