Title: Iran Reports Significant Drop in Theft Rates, Highlights National Resilience and Security Measures
Tehran – In a press conference today, a senior official announced a substantial decline in theft rates across Iran, attributing the positive trend to enhanced preventive measures and national vigilance.
A Marked Decline in Crime
Asghar Jahangir, speaking to reporters, revealed that the nation has witnessed a notable 30 to 40 percent reduction in theft over the past two years. He described this achievement as particularly significant given the prevailing global economic challenges.
“This reduction in crime, especially theft, demonstrates the alertness of various sectors and the effective measures that have been implemented,” Jahangir stated.
Linking Security to National Strength
The official framed the improved security situation within the broader context of Iran’s position on the world stage. He asserted that the nation has emerged stronger in both diplomatic and defensive arenas, a fact he claimed is a source of frustration for its adversaries.
“The enemy has launched various forms of aggression, betrayals, and direct and indirect wars against the Iranian nation to force the Islamic Revolution to surrender,” Jahangir said. “But the world sees that the enemy has miscalculated regarding Iran and its people.”
He further emphasized that Iran’s independence and its role as a model for nations seeking self-determination are “unacceptable to the arrogant global powers,” who he claimed are consistently defeated in their efforts to undermine the nation’s values.
Economic Oversight and Judicial Action
Addressing public concerns over the price of essential goods, Jahangir assured that necessary follow-ups are being conducted regarding any executive inaction. He highlighted that the Inspectorate Organization has prioritized stricter market supervision.
“Those who engage in price gouging, hoarding, or attempts to disrupt market秩序 will definitely be confronted, as was seen with the hoarders of rice,” he affirmed. He added that the judiciary, alongside its security duties, considers itself responsible in the economic and livelihood spheres and is assisting the government.
The press conference concluded with a reaffirmation of Iran’s commitment to maintaining internal security and stability, presenting the drop in theft as a tangible result of coordinated state action and public resilience.
