Title: Social Security Pension Payments for April Disbursed, Says Association Head
Tehran – The Head of the Social Security Retirees Association, Mohammad Asadi, has provided a significant update on the disbursement of pension arrears, confirming that payments for the month of April have been successfully distributed to a large segment of retirees.
In his statement, Asadi clarified the payment schedule, noting that the process to clear these arrears began last month. He confirmed that retirees receiving pensions of less than 20 million tomans have already received their outstanding payments for the April period. He also added that survivors and beneficiaries have received their arrears along with their September pensions.
Phased Payment Schedule
For retirees with pensions exceeding 20 million tomans, Asadi outlined that the payment process commenced on the 21st of the current Iranian month of Mehr. This phased approach ensures a systematic and orderly distribution of funds across the pensioner community.
Systematic Bank Transfers
Further detailing the logistical process, the Association Head explained that the payments are being processed through various banks based on an alphabetical order of recipients’ names. He confirmed that this methodical system is also being implemented for accounts held with Bank Refah, ensuring a transparent and organized transfer of funds to all eligible retirees.
