New Healthcare Initiative Launches for Qom’s Retired Educators
In a significant move to enhance welfare services for retired education personnel, the Head of the Qom Province Retired Teachers Association announced the establishment of a new comprehensive healthcare insurance plan for its members.
Enhanced Medical Coverage
Hossein Foroughi stated that the “Ekmal” health insurance scheme, established in cooperation with the Atieh Sazan Hafez insurance company, has been activated for over six thousand retired teachers and educators in the province. This initiative is specifically designed to provide superior and more streamlined medical services to this esteemed segment of society.
A Commitment to Retirees
Emphasizing the importance of supporting retirees, Foroughi noted that the association has approximately 9,500 members from the community of retired teachers and instructors. He affirmed that the association’s ongoing efforts are squarely focused on providing them with increased and deserving services. The new insurance plan, operated by a company specializing solely in medical affairs, ensures high-quality service. A key feature is the online payment of medical costs at connected centers, with reimbursements for other centers processed within a maximum of five days.
Streamlined Services and Future Goals
Foroughi extended appreciation to the managing director of Atieh Sazan Hafez, Dr. Ranjbaran, and provincial manager Zahra Sadat Nasrollahi for their cooperation in addressing the healthcare concerns of cultural retirees. He further expressed the desire for all medical and diagnostic centers to operate online for maximum efficiency. The association continues to work towards the goal of providing integrated basic, supplementary, and comprehensive (Ekmal) insurance coverage to all its members. Foroughi reported that nearly all association members now have supplementary insurance, with two-thirds also covered by the Ekmal plan, receiving medical services both directly and indirectly.
Beyond Healthcare: A Holistic Approach
Concluding his remarks, the association head highlighted that their support extends beyond healthcare. The organization also provides a wide array of cultural, scientific, athletic, artistic, advisory, recreational, and tourism programs for its members, in addition to facilitating access to banking facilities.
