Axis of Resistance Signals Readiness: Regional Strategic Options on Standby
Baghdad/Sana’a – Amidst escalating regional tensions, leaders within the “Axis of Resistance” have issued stark warnings, signaling that significant strategic capabilities are poised for deployment should circumstances necessitate. The rhetoric highlights a readiness to leverage established regional influence to counter perceived external pressures.
Iraqi Resistance Movement’s Assertions
Sheikh Akram Al-Kaabi, Secretary-General of Iraq’s Al-Nujaba movement, declared in a recent statement that the “Axis of Resistance” possesses potent tools, emphasizing that the “use of a very simple card from the resistance’s cards and weapons in the Strait of Hormuz created a challenge to your dominance and hegemony and shattered your stability.”
Al-Kaabi further commented on recent global conflicts, stating that “America and the Zionist regime revealed all they had, and poured tons of explosives on the women and children of Muslim nations without being able to achieve their goals.” He highlighted that despite decades of blockade, Iran has not been compelled to surrender. In a direct address to the United States, he posed a rhetorical question: “If the Axis of Resistance uses another regional card, what will you do?!”
Yemeni Ansarullah’s Reinforcement
Echoing this sentiment, Yemen’s Ansarullah movement previously emphasized its own strategic readiness. A statement from Ansarullah underscored their capacity to control vital waterways, noting, “If the need arises to control the Bab al-Mandab Strait to further discipline the enemy, in addition to Iran’s sole capability to produce credible threats in this strait, the heroes of Yemen’s Ansarullah are fully prepared for an artful role.”
Ansarullah reiterated past demonstrations of their ability to influence maritime traffic, asserting, “Ansarullah of Yemen has previously shown that closing the Bab al-Mandab Strait and imposing the will of the resistance in the Red Sea is an easy task for them.”
The pronouncements from both Iraqi and Yemeni factions underscore a unified stance of preparedness and a clear communication of the “Axis of Resistance’s” strategic depth and willingness to employ it in safeguarding regional interests.
