Title: Iran’s Social Security Organization Accelerates Pension Disbursements, Completes Annual Adjustment
Tehran – The Social Security Organization is continuing its systematic disbursement of monthly pensions for the month of Mehr across Iran, with payments currently being processed for retirees alphabetically from the letter “S” onward in Tehran and other provinces.
This ongoing process is part of the organization’s committed schedule to ensure timely payments to all retirees.
Settling Outstanding Payments
In a significant step towards finalizing the annual pension adjustment for the current Iranian year, a substantial number of retirees are set to receive an enhanced payment. Alongside their regular Mehr pension, a specific group will also receive an adjustment differential from the month of Farvardin, estimated to be a significant sum. This combined payment marks a notable increase in their end-of-month income.
Authorities have confirmed that the settlement of these adjustment arrears for retirees who do not use the Refah Bank has been fully completed. Furthermore, approximately 20 percent of the payments through Refah Bank have already been processed.
Commitment to Comprehensive Service Delivery
The organization has reiterated its dedication to serving all its beneficiaries. It was confirmed that survivors, individuals with disabilities, and pensioners receiving lower-tier payments had previously received their full arrears. Disbursements for remaining eligible individuals continue daily and are projected to be entirely finalized within the next week.
This phase of payments will mark the complete implementation and closure of the annual pension adjustment plan for the year 1404.
Oversight and Provincial Achievements
Concurrent with the nationwide payment drive, senior officials are emphasizing service quality and administrative efficiency. Keyvan Mortezaei, the Managing Director of the Gilan Provincial Social Security Office, recently led a supervisory visit to the Talesh branch. During the visit, he stressed the importance of streamlining processes, honoring beneficiaries, and accelerating service delivery.
In a separate development, the Alborz Provincial Social Security Office was recognized for its exemplary performance. Following a comprehensive nationwide assessment of provincial offices based on key operational indicators—including revenue targets, long-term liability control, and the enhancement of digital services—Alborz province secured the third-highest national ranking.
Davoud Sadrzadeh, the Managing Director of the Alborz office, attributed this achievement to the province’s integrated programs, consistent field supervision, and the continuous improvement of executive processes. The Alborz organization, with its extensive network of branches and agencies, provides insurance services to over 1.8 million insured individuals in the province.
