Title: New Centralized Marriage Loan Initiative Announced for Armed Forces Retirees’ Children
In a significant development for the retired community of the armed forces, a new streamlined process for marriage loans has been announced, promising faster and more efficient financial support for their children.
Key Meeting with Senior Officials
The announcement follows a high-level meeting between representatives of the armed forces retirees and Mr. Sadeghi, the Managing Director of the Armed Forces Social Welfare Organization (SATA) and head of the Retirement Organization. Amir Rahbar, an activist with the veterans’ fund, confirmed the details of the discussions, which centered on addressing key concerns of the retirees.
Focus on Economic Justice and Welfare
A primary topic of the meeting was the serious follow-up on Chapters 10 and 13 of Article 125 of the Civil Service Law. This legislation mandates that the salaries of armed forces personnel and retirees be adjusted according to the inflation rate. Rahbar stated that, in this regard, official correspondences have been made with the government through SATA and the matter is being actively pursued to ensure economic justice for those who have served the nation.
Streamlined Loan Process Announced
In a move set to directly benefit retirees and their families, SATA has pledged to soon coordinate with one of the agent banks to centralize the marriage loan process for their children. This new centralized system is designed to cut through bureaucratic delays, with a firm commitment that the loans will be disbursed to eligible children in less than six months.
Extended Eligibility for Dowry Loans
Further expanding the support, the Managing Director of SATA also announced that retirees will now be eligible to receive a 200 million Tomans dowry loan for up to two years following their daughter’s marriage contract. This extension provides families with greater flexibility and a longer timeframe to secure essential financial assistance.
This series of initiatives underscores the ongoing attention to the welfare of armed forces retirees and their families, ensuring they receive the support and benefits commensurate with their service.
