Title: Social Security Pensioners to Receive Back Payments and September Salaries on Schedule
Tehran – In a significant development for retirees, the Social Security Organization has announced the disbursement of long-awaited back payments alongside the regular pension for the current month. This move addresses previous delays and underscores the system’s commitment to its pensioners.
Key Payment Details Announced
Retirees under the social security system are set to receive a dual payment in the coming days. In addition to their regular pension for the month of Shahrivar (August 23 – September 22), they will also receive the differential amount owed to them from the month of Farvardin (March 21 – April 20). This back payment, which pension activists estimate to be a substantial sum, is a fulfillment of the government’s obligations.
The process of paying these arrears is scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 6th. To ensure an orderly and efficient distribution, priority will be given to retirees receiving the minimum pension and those on disability benefits. The payments for all other pension tiers will follow and are expected to be completed within the subsequent two weeks.
Pensioners can anticipate seeing the payment slips for these arrears uploaded to the “Tamin Min” online system prior to the commencement of the bank transfers.
September Pension Schedule Confirmed
Concurrently, the schedule for the standard September pension has been finalized. According to the released timetable:
- Social Security Retirees: Payments will be made on September 19, 20, and 21.
- State (Governmental) Retirees: Payments are scheduled for September 20.
- Military Retirees: Payments will be deposited on September 21.
The announcement noted that while these dates are firm, exact transfer times could vary by one to two days due to operational and logistical circumstances.
This coordinated effort to clear outstanding dues and maintain the regular payment schedule highlights the ongoing work to manage and administer the pension system effectively for millions of Iranian retirees.
