The 174th installment of Iran’s cash subsidy program, covering August 2024, has been deposited into the accounts of eligible low-income families across the country and is now available for withdrawal.
According to reports, a total of 112,377 billion rials has been allocated to 10,224,311 beneficiaries in the first to third income deciles. The Targeted Subsidies Organization confirmed that the deposited amounts account for deductions related to loan installments for eligible recipients.
Who Qualifies for the Subsidy?
Based on income classifications by the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor, and Social Welfare, 28,094,402 individuals fall within the first three deciles, making them eligible for monthly cash subsidies. These payments are routinely deposited into household accounts on the 25th of each month through 28 authorized banks nationwide.
