In a significant move to bolster social welfare, the Iranian National Retirement Organization has announced the disbursement of new financial aid packages, underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting its citizens.
Essential Loan Disbursement for Pensioners
Alaeddin Azouji, the acting head of the National Retirement Fund, announced that a new round of essential loans, valued at 50 million Tomans, has been deposited for 33,000 eligible retirees. This initiative is part of the fund’s ongoing support programs designed to improve the living conditions of pensioners.
Parallel Support for Higher Education
In a parallel facilitative policy, Azouji highlighted the simultaneous disbursement of Hampad loans for qualified individuals. This scheme extends support to the academic community, providing 10 million Tomans for 148 Master’s degree students and 15 million Tomans for 109 PhD candidates, benefiting a total of 257 postgraduate students.
Commitment to Timely and Just Distribution
Emphasizing the administration’s operational priorities, the head of the Retirement Fund stressed that adherence to payment schedules and the swift, accurate delivery of these facilities to retirees are of utmost importance. He reiterated that fairness in the provision of services remains a central pillar of their programs.
Plans for Expanded Welfare Services
Addressing repeated requests from retirees for broader welfare services, Azouji stated that the National Retirement Fund plans to leverage the capabilities of its subsidiary companies and existing economic capacities. The goal is to provide a more diverse range of welfare programs, ensuring retirees have access to a greater number of services and facilities.
