State Pensioners to Receive August Payments Starting August 21
According to Eghtesad Online, the payment of August 2025 pensions for state retirees will begin on August 21 and is expected to continue until the evening of August 22.
In a significant update, retired teachers from the 2021 cohort under the State Pension Fund will also receive the second phase of their salary adjustments alongside their August pension.
Oghani Arani, Deputy of Management and Resource Development at the State Pension Fund, confirmed that after joint meetings with the Planning and Budget Organization, the necessary funds have been secured. The adjusted amounts will be deposited into eligible retirees’ accounts simultaneously with their August pensions.
Social Security Retirees: New Payment Schedule
The Social Security Organization has announced a revised payment schedule for its pensioners. Instead of starting disbursements on the 20th of each month, pensions will now be paid in the last three days of the month.
As a result, August 2025 pensions for Social Security retirees will be deposited on August 20, 21, and 22. This change aims to improve banking coordination and expedite payment processing. Previously, payments were staggered alphabetically from August 20 onward.
Military Retirees to Receive Pensions on August 22
The State Pension Fund has confirmed that military retirees will receive their August pensions on August 22, aligning with the revised payment schedules.
This streamlined approach ensures timely and efficient pension distribution across all sectors, reinforcing the government’s commitment to retirees’ welfare.
