Tehran Province’s electricity distribution network has showcased remarkable resilience and efficiency, rapidly restoring infrastructure damaged by recent incidents, according to a senior official. The swift response underlines the company’s proactive readiness amidst evolving geopolitical challenges.

Akbar Hassanbeklou, CEO of the Tehran Province Electricity Distribution Company, highlighted the company’s proactive stance against recent threats. He stated that the company immediately activated its operational phase, leveraging pre-planned passive defense scenarios at the onset of what he described as an “American-Zionist imposed war.” This strategic preparedness enabled an immediate and robust response across the province.
Rapid Response and Extensive Mobilization
To effectively tackle potential disruptions and ensure continuous service, 250 technical-executive teams were strategically organized throughout Tehran Province. These dedicated teams operate round-the-clock, maintaining readiness to address any disturbance within the power distribution network at a moment’s notice.
Swift Repair of Damaged Infrastructure
Hassanbeklou further detailed the extent of recent damage, confirming that 229 specific points across the provincial power grid sustained harm due to “direct enemy attacks” in recent days. Thanks to the diligent and arduous efforts of these operational teams, all affected areas have been successfully repaired and reconstructed, ensuring the full integrity of the network.
Ensuring Uninterrupted Service
The CEO affirmed that the status of the power distribution network in the counties of Tehran Province is currently optimal. He assured residents that the company’s technical-executive forces are operating at 100% readiness, reaffirming their commitment to the continued provision of high-quality and uninterrupted service to the “zealous people of Tehran Province.” This swift and comprehensive recovery effort demonstrates Iran’s strategic capacity to maintain essential services even under challenging circumstances.
