University of Sharif Damaged in “American-Zionist” Attack
In a concerning development, the prestigious University of Sharif, a cornerstone of scientific and cultural advancement, has sustained damage following an alleged “American-Zionist” assault. The university president, Masoud Tajrishian, confirmed that one of the institution’s buildings was targeted, resulting in material losses. He emphasized that while the academic community will focus on reconstruction and maintaining its role as a center for learning and culture, the nation’s defenders will deliver a “necessary response on the front lines.” Fortunately, no human casualties were reported at the university itself.

The provincial capital of Qom has also suffered civilian casualties. The Deputy Governor for Political and Security Affairs reported that an “American-Zionist” enemy fired projectiles that struck a residential building in one of the city’s neighborhoods. Emergency and rescue teams were immediately deployed, commencing vital search and recovery operations. As of the initial hours post-incident, five citizens have been martyred, with the possibility of this number increasing as rescue efforts continue.
