Final Payment Date Set for Retirees’ March Salary Adjustments
In a significant development for Iranian retirees, the Kermanshah province Social Security Organization chief has announced that the third and final phase of payments to clear salary adjustment arrears will be completed by October 6, 2024.
Payment Schedule Confirmed
The official confirmed that the outstanding payments for retirees and pensioners with previous salaries exceeding 20 million tomans, as well as for survivors, are scheduled for settlement by the specified date in mid-autumn. The delay for this specific group was attributed to liquidity management strategies, designed to ensure the financial system’s stability and avoid disruptions in the payment infrastructure.
Previous Phases Successfully Completed
According to the report, the payment process has been executed in stages. The first phase was successfully delivered on September 2 for lower-income retirees and disability pensioners. The second phase was then distributed between September 20 and 22, coinciding with the regular September salary payments. The Social Security Organization has emphasized that this phased approach is a strategic measure for prudent financial resource management.
Addressing Concerns and Looking Ahead
While the delay in the third phase had caused concern among some retirees, the announcement of a firm deadline provides clarity. The organization has reiterated its commitment to settling all outstanding obligations. Retirees can check their payment status and digital pay slips through the dedicated hotline (1420) or via the official online portal and mobile application.
This final settlement marks the conclusion of the process to reconcile the salary differences arising from the March 2025 adjustments, ensuring retirees receive their full entitlements.
