Title: March Pension Payments Disbursed for Retirees, Government Confirms Timely Settlement
Tehran – In a significant step towards fulfilling its social obligations, the Iranian government has successfully processed the March pension payments for a substantial segment of retirees.
Payment Processing Underway
According to an official report, the disbursement of March pension arrears for retirees receiving more than 20 million tomans commenced yesterday. The initial phase of the payment was processed through the Bank Refah for retirees whose family names begin with the Persian letters ‘Ayn,’ ‘Gheyn,’ ‘Fe,’ and ‘Ghaf.’
Authorities have confirmed that the distribution of these funds will continue systematically based on the Persian alphabet. This organized approach is designed to ensure a smooth and orderly transfer of funds to all eligible citizens.
Commitment to a Clear Deadline
A definitive timeline has been established for the completion of this process. The plan stipulates that all outstanding March payments for retirees will be fully settled before the middle of the Iranian month of Aban (early November). This announcement provides clear expectations and certainty for the pensioner community regarding the receipt of their funds.
Focus on Lower-Income Pensioners Honored
The report further highlighted that the government had previously prioritized and completed the payment of arrears for the nation’s minimum-wage retirees and Social Security beneficiaries. This earlier action underscores the state’s continued commitment to supporting its most vulnerable citizens and ensuring their financial welfare is addressed promptly.
