Hadi Hejazi Far Expands His Role: A New Venture into Television Hosting
Iranian actor and director Hadi Hejazi Far is embarking on a new professional chapter, adding television hosting to his extensive repertoire in the country’s vibrant entertainment industry.
A Multifaceted Artistic Journey
Hejazi Far first established his presence in Iranian cinema, quickly demonstrating his capabilities through roles in several feature films and collaborations with various directors. He successfully transitioned to home network productions, gaining significant recognition for his role in “Sher Skin” (Leather Skin). He further expanded his creative influence by taking on the directorial duties for the series “Darioush.” While continuing his acting career, his most recent project is a collaboration with Homayoun Asadian on a police series, partially filmed in Qeshm and currently titled “White Whale.” He is also set to return to the big screen soon with the upcoming film “Natordasht.”
Stepping into the Spotlight as a Host
Now, Hejazi Far is set to captivate audiences from a different angle. He has chosen to venture into television hosting, a role that often places well-known actors under intense scrutiny. The industry and viewers alike will be watching to see how he navigates this new challenge.
One of the flagship programs he will host is “Sad” (One Hundred), a general knowledge quiz show that challenges participants with visually presented questions. The program, inspired by the successful international format “The Floor,” is designed to focus on various fields of public knowledge and promote a culture of study. It has been noted to share conceptual similarities with the popular show “Pantoolig,” previously hosted by Mohammad Reza Golzar. “Sad” is scheduled to air soon on Channel 3.
Furthermore, reports indicate that Hejazi Far is slated to take over hosting duties on the program “Gol ya Pouch” (Heads or Tails). This anticipated change, particularly amid competitive dynamics between platforms and the launch of the new season of “Shah Gol” hosted by Mehran Modiri, has generated considerable interest and discussion within digital media circles. This move signifies a dynamic period of evolution and fresh talent within Iranian broadcasting.
