According to the official report, a passing mid-level atmospheric wave will influence the northern strip of the country starting Thursday. This system is expected to bring increased cloud cover and occasional rainfall to eastern Ardabil, Gilan, and western Mazandaran provinces.
Intensifying Conditions on Friday
The forecast indicates a significant intensification of weather patterns on Friday. Rainfall is expected to increase in western Gilan and eastern Ardabil, while scattered heavy showers are predicted for parts of northern East Azerbaijan and Ardabil provinces. The unstable conditions are set to continue into Saturday, with cloudy skies and light precipitation anticipated in some areas of Gilan and western Mazandaran.
Wind and Dust Forecast for Central Regions
Further developments are forecast for Saturday and Sunday. The central mountain ranges, including areas of Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Hamadan, and Markazi provinces, as well as the southern slopes of the Alborz mountains in Zanjan, Qazvin, and Alborz provinces, may experience increased cloud cover, strong winds, and occasional dust storms.
