Heirs of Justice Shares: Payout Schedule Finalized for Deceased Beneficiaries’ Estates
Tehran – In a significant move to finalize the distribution of national stock dividends, Iranian financial authorities have announced the procedural roadmap for transferring funds to the heirs of deceased “Justice Shares” beneficiaries, underscoring the state’s commitment to comprehensive social welfare.
Second Major Dividend Disbursement Completed
According to Reza Noohi, a senior official at the Central Securities Depository and Settlement Company, a second major tranche of dividends from the Justice Shares portfolio, accrued in recent years, has been successfully deposited into the accounts of over 44 million shareholders. This action was taken in direct implementation of a directive from the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange.
Next Phase: Settling Estates of Recent Decedents
Addressing a key procedural point, Noohi clarified the process for heirs. For individuals who inherited shares from beneficiaries who passed away after July 2021, the transfer of both the principal and accrued dividends will be processed in subsequent phases. Heirs are required to complete and submit the necessary documentation through the designated Tax Administration system to facilitate the transfer to their personal accounts.
Substantial Financial Allocation for National Welfare
Providing context on the scale of the disbursement, Valliollah Jafari, another senior official, revealed that the total dividend from the underlying companies in the Justice Shares portfolio for the last fiscal year amounted to approximately 86 trillion Tomans. Of this, about 34 trillion Tomans was distributed to shareholders in late February 2025.
Jafari confirmed that the remaining balance, a substantial sum of around 42 trillion Tomans, is scheduled for deposit into shareholder accounts by the end of the current week. This final payment will also include the accrued profits from the shares themselves.
Individual Payouts and Final Steps
Eligible recipients are divided into two main groups based on their original share value. While the exact final amount for each individual will be calculated and confirmed later this week, Jafari estimated that payouts would range between 800,000 to 1,000,000 Tomans per beneficiary.
For any shareholders who may have missed previous dividend payments, authorities directed them to the comprehensive integrated system for the Central Securities Depository (the SAMAN system). By completing their personal and banking information on this platform, they will receive all outstanding dividends in a single lump-sum payment.
