Academic Leader Condemns ‘Criminal America,’ Mourns Slain Ayatollah and Prominent Families
TEHRAN – Ali Montazeri, the Head of Jahad Daneshgahi (Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research), has issued profound tributes and condolences following what he described as the “glorious and oppressed martyrdom” of several prominent figures, including His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, his revered mother, and esteemed sister. Montazeri’s powerful messages, as reported by Shafaqna, attributed these tragic losses to a “cowardly terrorist attack by criminal America and the ominous Zionist regime,” a claim underscoring the deep political tensions surrounding the events.
Tribute to the Supreme Leader’s Family
In a message addressed to Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mostafa Hosseini Khamenei, Montazeri conveyed profound grief and congratulations on the martyrdom of the “sagacious Leader of the Revolution, the esteemed Grand Jurist and Guardian of the Muslim world, and Guide of the Ummah, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), along with his esteemed mother and dear sister.”
Montazeri highlighted the immense impact of this “great loss,” describing it as a “severe blow to the body of the Islamic Ummah.” He lauded the martyred leader as a “Mujahid in the path of God, the leader of Iranian hearts, the kind father of the Islamic Ummah, and a constant herald of unity, insight, and national progress,” who carried “the legacy of the eternal school of the late Imam Khomeini (RA).”
The academic chief extended his condolences to the bereaved nation and the entire Islamic Ummah, praying for the martyrs’ elevation in status and their reunion with the pure Imams, while seeking divine patience for the Iranian nation and the distinguished Khamenei family. He firmly stated, “Undoubtedly, the pure blood of the martyrs will safeguard the sapling of the Islamic Revolution more firmly than ever, and the bright path of resistance and dignity will continue with greater strength and steadfastness until the advent of the Savior of humanity (A.J.).”
Mourning Prominent Families
Montazeri also extended similar messages of condolence and congratulations on the martyrdom of other esteemed individuals, all attributed to the same alleged terrorist attack on the “blessed house of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.”
In a separate message, he mourned the martyrdom of Mohammad Javad and Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani – the son and young granddaughter of Ayatollah Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani. He prayed for their high stations in paradise and for solace for their grieving family.
Furthermore, Montazeri conveyed his sorrow to Gholamali Haddad Adel and Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, following the martyrdom of Zahra Haddad Adel, Haddad Adel’s devout and honorable daughter. He prayed for her soul and for divine patience for the distinguished Khamenei and Haddad Adel families.
Montazeri’s unified messages underscore a resolute national stance in the face of perceived external aggression, reaffirming the enduring principles of resistance and solidarity within the Islamic Republic.
