Prominent Iranian actress Elham Charkhvand began a new chapter in her life with her third marriage in September 2017, when she wed Seyed Mohammad Darvishi, a cleric. Following their marriage, she relocated to the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, to accompany her husband due to his professional obligations.
A Diverse and Active Background
Prior to her move, Ms. Charkhvand was known for a diverse range of activities within Iran. She was actively involved in Quranic programs, including recitations, at the Mehdiyeh Tehran center. Her talents also extended to the sports arena, where she was a professional volleyball player with experience in national-level competitions. Furthermore, she contributed to her community by teaching painting classes organized by the Basij in local mosques.
