Iran Denounces Drone Attack on Kurdistan Region President’s Residence, Citing Regional Destabilization
Tehran, Iran – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a strong condemnation of a drone attack targeting the residence of the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in Dohuk. In a statement, the IRGC characterized the act as a blatant act of terrorism perpetrated by aggressive adversaries.
“Operation Fair Promise 4” Statement Highlights Terrorism:
The IRGC’s Public Relations department, in Statement No. 49 of “Operation Fair Promise 4,” unequivocally stated, “The drone aggression against the home of the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in Dohuk is an example of a terrorist act by aggressive enemies. We have witnessed a history of such actions in recent days with the cowardly assassinations of senior Iranian officials and the oppressed people of Iran by the terrorist armies of the United States and Zionism.”
A Threat to Regional Stability:
The statement further elaborated that these terrorist actions signify a malicious endeavor by war-mongering adversaries to undermine peace, stability, and regional cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and its neighboring countries.

Furthermore, the Corps expressed its readiness to support and defend the security of its neighbors by strengthening security cooperation and establishing a collective defense shield within the region.
