Iran Khodro Announces Major New Vehicle Allocation Initiative for September 2025
Iran’s leading automaker, Iran Khodro, has unveiled plans for a significant new vehicle allocation round, featuring eight of its popular models. The initiative, a key development within the nation’s industrial strategy, is scheduled to open for registration in September 2025.
Registration Timeline and Key Details
According to the official announcement, the registration portal for this allocation will be active from Sunday, September 9, 2025, through Friday, September 14, 2025. This initiative is designed to streamline public access to new vehicles and is part of broader efforts to organize and modernize the domestic automotive market.
Prospective customers are advised to note several important conditions for eligibility. A primary requirement stipulates that applicants must not have purchased a vehicle from Iran Khodro or Saipa within the preceding 48 months. For purchases from other companies, this ineligibility period is reduced to the previous 24 months. However, an exception is made for citizens who already own an active vehicle license plate for a car older than five years; they remain eligible to participate.
Streamlined Process and Vehicle Delivery
In a move to simplify the process for citizens, the requirement for a power of attorney to open a bank account for the standard allocation plan has been removed. Furthermore, the process does not require a driver’s license for registration, making it more accessible.
The company has outlined two main delivery schedules for the vehicles: an expedited “Super” delivery within 90 working days and a standard pre-sale delivery expected within 4 months or more.
This allocation round underscores the continuous development and planning within Iran’s automotive industry, a vital sector of the national economy.
