
Iran to Host National Tribute for 84 Heroic Martyrs of Dena Destroyer
Tehran, Iran – Iran is preparing for a significant national event as the Foundation for Preservation of Works and Publication of Values of Sacred Defense and Resistance, in coordination with the Army Public Relations, announced detailed plans for a public farewell and solemn procession to honor 84 heroic martyrs associated with the Dena Destroyer. The nationwide ceremonies underscore the Islamic Republic’s commitment to commemorating national heroes and reinforcing the values of sacrifice and resistance.
Public Procession and Farewell Ceremonies Announced
According to the official announcement, the sacred bodies of the 84 martyrs will be carried in a grand procession through Tehran. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Esfand 27 (Persian calendar), beginning at 13:30. The procession will commence from Enghelab Square, a historically significant location in the capital, proceeding towards Me’raj-e Shohada (Ascension of Martyrs), a revered site for commemorating those who have fallen in service to the nation.
Preceding the main procession, a “Night of Farewell” ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Esfand 26, at 19:00. These poignant ceremonies are planned to take place in major squares across Tehran, inviting broad public participation and offering an opportunity for citizens to pay their respects.
