A new wave of Iranian missile attacks has struck the occupied territories, marking the most intense assault in the past three days.
According to Tasnim News Agency’s defense correspondent, this latest offensive represents the eighth wave of Iranian missile attacks as part of “Operation True Promise 3.”
The Israeli army spokesperson confirmed they were “countering Iranian missiles” and urged residents in the occupied territories to remain in shelters. Reports from Israeli media indicate multiple large explosions heard across central occupied territories. This latest assault is described as the heaviest among Iran’s eight waves of attacks to date.
The impact of missiles on Haifa, Tel Aviv, and areas such as Petah Tikva, Gush Dan, and Bnei Brak has led to a critical situation in these regions. Several missiles reportedly struck the power plant and refinery in Haifa.
In its sixth statement, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that in this operation, using innovative methods, the enemy’s air defense systems targeted each other.
The IRGC emphasized that more targeted, effective, and devastating operations against the Zionist regime will continue.
The full text of the IRGC’s statement is as follows:
“To the noble people of Iran, we announce that moments ago, a new wave of missile attacks by the IRGC Aerospace Force began, more powerful and devastating than before.
In this operation, the command and control systems of the brutal Zionist regime were disrupted using innovative methods and enhanced intelligence-equipment capabilities, reinforced by martyrs Baqeri, Salami, Hajizadeh, and other martyrs of the IRGC Aerospace. This disruption led to the regime’s own air defense systems targeting each other.
The innovations and capabilities employed in this operation, despite comprehensive support from the US and Western powers and their possession of the latest and most advanced defense technology, resulted in the successful and maximal impact of missiles on targets in the occupied territories.
Today, we witness the fulfillment of the true promises of martyrs Baqeri, Salami, and Hajizadeh, who repeatedly declared that ‘True Promise 3’ and future operations would be far more devastating, difficult, precise, and destructive than previous operations.
Furthermore, this operation demonstrated that the calculations and assessments of the deluded and aggressive Zionist and American enemies regarding Islamic Iran were completely wrong, and now we should witness the collapse of the occupying Zionist regime.
Supporters of this criminal regime should also know that effective, targeted, and more devastating operations against the vital targets of this fabricated regime will continue until its complete annihilation.”
An anonymous military expert told CNN that the new series of Iranian missiles were highly accurate in targeting, differing from previously used Iranian missiles. According to this military expert, the Iranian missiles are capable of maneuvering, which has complicated and disrupted the efforts of air defense systems to intercept them.
