India: A Steadfast Partner for Iran During Difficult Times, Says Ambassador
New Delhi, India – Iran’s Ambassador to India, Mohammad Fathali, has lauded India’s public and governmental response during challenging periods for the Islamic Republic, underscoring New Delhi’s role as a trusted ally.
In a statement on social media platform X, Ambassador Fathali expressed profound gratitude to the people and government of India for their “sympathy and solidarity” with the Iranian nation and government during “these difficult days.”
The Iranian Embassy in New Delhi has been instrumental in channeling voluntary contributions from the Indian public towards the procurement of essential medicines. Ambassador Fathali highlighted that a portion of these vital efforts are already visibly bearing fruit.
“The people of India have demonstrated that in times of hardship and crisis, they are reliable and compassionate partners,” Fathali stated, emphasizing the deep-rooted nature of this mutual support.
The Ambassador also extended his appreciation to the Indian government for its crucial role in facilitating and coordinating the logistical aspects of these valuable contributions, ensuring their efficient delivery and utilization.
