Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi, the esteemed Friday Prayer Leader of Qom, proclaimed Iran’s resounding victory over recent adversities, asserting that the Islamic Republic and its noble people emerged triumphant with honor, while adversaries faced a humiliating defeat. He highlighted expert assessments indicating that Iran has demonstrated the highest rate of resilience globally, enduring severe and unjust international pressures.

Saeedi underscored that the magnitude of pressure exerted, described as “all-encompassing,” is virtually unparalleled in global history. He credited the unity between the Islamic Republic system and the Iranian populace for navigating this arduous period, acknowledging that while the peak of the crisis has largely passed, its ramifications persist.

During the recent disturbances, Saeedi revealed, one primary objective of the adversaries was to induce famine. He elaborated that agitators deliberately targeted large chain store warehouses, setting fire to essential goods and creating supply disruptions, aiming to push the nation to the brink of crisis in this vital sector.
He further emphasized the adversaries’ recognition that the Supreme Leader constituted the pivotal strategic wisdom of the system and the principal impediment to America’s unjust ambitions. This leadership, he stated, has historically intimidated enemies. The US, Saeedi asserted, had designed a strategy akin to the Venezuelan model for the removal of Iran’s leadership during these events.
