Iranian Judo Announces Formidable Youth and Junior Squads for Asian Championships
Iran is set to showcase its next generation of athletic talent as the national judo federation unveils the teams for the upcoming Asian Youth and Junior Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia. The selected athletes represent the nation’s strong commitment to excellence and development in international sports.
Tournament Schedule and Participation
The championships will commence with the Junior category events on September 10 and 11, featuring 199 judokas from 20 Asian nations. This will be immediately followed by the Youth category competitions on September 12 and 13, which will see 192 athletes from 18 countries vying for top honors on the mat.

Junior Boys’ Team:
Coached by Mohammad Janabzadeh, the team includes:
